10 years ago, I didn’t feel comfortable with my head covering options; each option was either not comfortable, too complicated, or didn’t fit with my style. I looked for solutions and started to dream, think, sketch and design. I created a headpiece I felt confident in, and wore it proudly. My neighbors and friends noticed - and asked me to make one for them too.

Suddenly, people started to talk about my headbands, and women from all around the country began showing up at my door to buy a headband or two. I’ll never forget my feelings at the beginning - the butterflies in my stomach as I set up the wall of headbands and the nervousness when showing my creations to complete strangers.

And that’s when I realized that I wasn’t alone - and other women were feeling just like I was. This became my opportunity to create something different and new - of high quality, that felt stylish and fashionable. I could let go of my strong feelings about head covering and turn it into an enjoyable fashion experience.

And that’s what I did.

Values in hand, I began to design and create with a sense of responsibility towards my customers and the environment, using high quality materials, advanced sewing methods and staying in touch with style.

Krush is my dream that has turned into my reality - and it is my greatest honor to keep dreaming and sharing it with you

With love,

Keren

Every step in the process, from the intentional selection of high-quality materials to the meticulous hand-cutting of fabrics, is done with the ultimate precision to minimize waste and environmental impact. We ensure that no fabric goes unused, as leftover scraps are thoughtfully donated for use in creative projects in local schools. Notably, none of our products or packaging are made from plastic, which is damaging to the environment, and not durable or long-lasting.

All Krush products are crafted in-house, by local seamstresses, ensuring exclusively local production. All fabrics are bought in fabric stores in Tel Aviv, supporting other local small businesses. Fabrics are not bought en-masse but through deliberate calculations, ensuring no excess or over-buying. We do not overproduce. We create small capsule collections and then make headpieces to-order, ensuring no unnecessary manufacturing and waste of materials.

Beyond the product itself, Krush embraces reusable packaging, which serves not only as an eco-friendly choice but also as a practical storage solution for our headpieces. In fostering a sense of community, we run a Facebook group dedicated to secondhand sales, actively encouraging the resale and exchange of our products.

We ensure that sustainability is not just a promise but our practice at every stage of the Krush journey.

In October 2023, during the war in Israel, women from the North and South of Israel were displaced from their homes in active war zones. In response, we immediately established a donation fund to provide these women with Krush headbands, a gesture that received generous support from our Krush community.

During the holiday season here in Israel, we facilitate a special sale of our products with the entirety of proceeds going to Bat Melech, a battered women’s shelter, and needy families in our communities.

Our team comprises local women, including our marketing, sewing, design, and cleaning teams, who are compensated fairly to support their families while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Children are welcome in our showroom!

We put a large focus on our customers’ experience, providing personal styling advice in choosing headbands, and maintain a Facebook group for the Krush community.

We prioritize our customers' experience, offering personalized styling advice when choosing headpieces. Additionally, we maintain an active Facebook group to encourage a sense of community among Krush wearers!

Our unwavering commitment to our beloved country is woven into every purchase and decision we make.

To support our local economy, all fabrics and materials are purchased from local Israeli vendors. The entire production process occurs on-site in our studio in the central city of Givat Shmuel, by skilled Israeli women.

Our newest Krush collection is inspired by Israel’s flourishing nature and breathtaking hikes. The photoshoots for Krush highlight different parts of our meaningful and beautiful land.

The women who work at Krush are “Miluim Families,” whose husbands bravely serve in reserve duty in the IDF, most recently serving for over 4 months starting October 7, 2023.

We pride ourselves in creating headbands that fit into the lifestyles of Israeli women. From policewomen to soldiers in the IDF, judges, lawyers, members of the Knesset (Parliament), working women, mothers and everyone in between, successful women across Israel are wearing our headpieces!

Inspired by lasting fashion trends, we meticulously craft headbands that seamlessly complement various styles, outfits, and events. Our goal is to meet the unique needs of our community and customers by creating headpieces that enhance personal expression.

Our headpieces do not just look timeless - they also are made of flexible metal boning which is extremely light and comfortable, and incredibly durable. Our headbands cannot break or snap; they simply bend, and last for many, many years.

We focus on finding needs in our community and customers, and creating headbands to fit those needs. We make both colorful, patterned headbands and classic, minimalist options so every woman can find the Krush that best fits them.

At Krush, we are dedicated to uniqueness. We do not mass produce, and intentionally limit the quantity of each headband - making sure that each headpiece remains distinct, special, and helps you embrace your individuality.
